To overcome women’s condition, situation and position, described above, determined by the current social, political, economic and patriarchal culture, towards a more equitable and just society, it is fundamental to approach women’s strategic needs strengthening their capacity, leadership, organizations and their critical awareness and citizenship.  It will be necessary to strengthen and articulate organizations, agendas, demands and proposals in both directions: local, national and international levels, between rural and urban and between women based organizations and women’s movement and feminists.

Along with Women's leadership capacity building it is fundamental to do so with staff in order to develop their analysis and methodological capacities to conduct in terrain interventions aimed to reduce opposition and refusal attitudes and modify ideology and culture, according to the social, cultural, ethnic and economic context.

Another fundamental aspect is supporting solutions to their practical needs, identified by them, related to human survival and imposed by their triple role, without reinforcing work sexual division, but certainly a mean to empowerment and participation in public sphere.

The orientation as well as intervention will considerate short, medium and long term perspective. The actions will be developed with indigenous and not indigenous women participating in development areas, partners and, local, municipal, departmental, regional, national and international women's organizations.
